Collaborating on Google Sheets in class is a great activity, however, sometimes users may accidentally delete information you entered into the spreadsheet. There is a way for you to be able to prevent users from editing headers or other important information in the sheet by using "Protect Range".
Protect Range
- Select the cell or range of cells you do not want users to be able to edit
- Right click and select "Protect Range"
- Choose who has access to edit those cells
